Eastwood Communicators met on Wednesday 19th October in Rhuallan House, Giffnock, Glasgow. The Theme for the evening was "First Impressions". The passing thought was delivered by Liz Duncan who provided members with a handout of an article on First Impressions.
Morag McLintock provided an interesting and worthwhile education session on the Duties of the Chairman.
The first Speech of the evening was by new member Elaine Carr with a delightful Icebreaker speech entitled "A Fairly Ordinary Life" this was an excellent start, but most members disagreed with the title.
The second speech was by Liz Duncan entitled "A Long Journey"
Morag McLintock provided us with entertaining topics and the General Evaluation was by President Ann Wright.
A most entertaining and enjoyable evening.
The next meeting of Eastwood Communicators is on 2nd November at 7.30pm in Rhuallan House, Giffnock and the theme of the evening is "Betwixt and Between" on humour with a workshop on evaluation by Liz Duncan.
